Gratitude seems like such a simple thing to do, and we are often told to be grateful for what we have and when things are are going smoothly then gratitude comes easy.

Imagine sitting in the sun having a picnic, spending time with your loved ones.. This brings a warm and fuzzy feeling to your heart, a natural feeling of gratitude. But what of those days when you battle to pay your bills, your child might be ill, you are stuck in the rain with no umbrella, those are the days times when gratitude normally goes flying out the window and we become bitter and sad. The thing is though…. Those are the days when it is most important to practice gratitude, to look at the glass half full. This is easier said than done. I want to challenge you to find one thing in your day today, one small thing that you are grateful for, because if we practice gratitude every day it becomes easier to do on the good days and the bad days.
